Ok, at long last, my latest book is now up on Amazon Japan. In fact, it's the first of the series to make it there, mostly because it's the Japanese edition and Japanese people can use it for self study. If you're teaching in Japan, check it out. And if you want to use the English version, contact me and I'll put you in touch with the publisher for a free copy.
I feel weird bragging about my own book, but I will say that it got a stellar review in "The Language Teacher" (the JALT monthly peer-reviewed journal).
In a nutshell, the book is designed to teach travel English. It follows a travel situation based in Canada, from the flight to Canada, through customs, checking in, yadda yadda yadda. What can I say, I'm still a Canadian at heart, in spite of having lived in Japan for 17 years.
And without further ado, here's the cover image, and if you click that, it will take you to the book on Amazon.

This book took 2 1/2 years to write, so for those of you who are thinking of writing textbooks, be prepared for a lot of work. I wrote the first 3 units of the manuscript on Koh Samed in Thailand, the last 7 and review units on Krabi, and then edited it either in Thailand or the Philippines, so the work was more than bearable -- and I'd recommend to anybody doing this that you try and reward yourself with stuff like that or
you're likely to have a vein go POP in your head from the stress
.
Thanks for reading!
